Keith Loran Foskey, 50, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday evening, April 30, 2024, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House in Waycross.
Born in Blackshear, March 11, 1974, he lived in Pierce County since the mid 1990s. He was a 1992 graduate of Ware County High School having been active in baseball. He would go on to graduate from Valdosta University and begin his career in finance in the mobile home industry. He was the cost accountant for Scottbuilt Homes for several years prior to becoming ill. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loved getting together with his friends on Saturday’s to watch the game. He also enjoyed sports, especially baseball as well as softball. He attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Zeak and Audrey Vernell Steedley and his paternal grandparents, Fluker Leon Foskey and Doris Veneta Dykes.
Survivors include his wife, Christi Carter Jones Foskey, Blackshear; his children, Karrigan Foskey, Atlanta and Ethan Foskey and Gavin Foskey, both of Cochran; his step-children, Calli Ann Jones, Blackshear, and Carter Jones and Caleb (Chelsea) Jones, all of Patterson; his parents, Tom &and Tanya Steedley Foskey, Alma; his father-in-law, Terry Carter of Blackshear; his brother-in-law, Art Carter, Atlanta; his step-granddaughter, Collins Kelly Jones and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, from the Pearson-Dial Chapel with the Rev. Mike Stone officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Dobbs, Wayne Gilmore, Neil Erdmier, Norman White, David Callaway and Rodney Spivey.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
