In Honor of Our Beloved Mother Gloria Thomas: Little did we know that morning, That God was going to call your name, Momma.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. We pray that God has blessed you, With the crown you’ve truly won. You left us peaceful memories, Your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, You are always in our hearts, and at our side.

We know you’re up in Heaven, And looking down on us, And when we look up at the stars, We know that’s where you’ll be. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. Rest easy in Heaven Momma, Know that you will be loved and missed dearly, Until we meet again, Until that day comes, We will remain together in spirit with you in our hearts forever.
