Danny Lamar Hollaway, 62, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday morning, February 4, 2025, at his residence, following an extended illness.

Born June 3, 1962, in Blackshear, he was a son of the late Robert Lamar and Waunell Dortha Hollaway. He lived all his life in Pierce County and was a logger with ET Logging.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Rozier.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Youmans Hollaway, Blackshear; two sons, Kevin Deen (wife Tammy), Woodbine and Randall Carter, Blackshear; a daughter, Gina Hollaway, Patterson; five grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Linda Cooper (husband Buck), Patterson and Dawn Kirkland, Blackshear; his special support companions, Prissy and Big Boy and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, from the chapel of Hart Funeral Home.

Interment followed in Waters Cemetery.
