Darrel Thomas , 94, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024.

He was born in Blackshear November 15, 1930 to Osrew and Emma

.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was known for unwavering love and devotion to his wife and family. He was a dedicated follower of Christ and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roswell,.

Throughout his life, he achieved many accomplishments in the work field as a regional manager for American Sterilizer Corporation, always giving his best. He touched the lives of countless individuals through his gardening skills, using the ground as his art palette.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, brother, three children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Ellijay.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

His departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his legacy will forever be cherished.
