‘Jerry’ Strickland Strickland

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Mr. William G. “Jerry” Strickland, Jr., 51, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at his residence in Jacksonville, Fla. Strickland was born in Waycross to William G. “ Jerry ” Strick - land and the late Glady   Ann Leverett Strickland. He was an estimator for Rise Construction in Jacksonville, and served in the United States Navy.
In addition to his mother, Strickland was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elaston E. Strickland and Carolyn H. Strickland; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Leverett. He is survived by his father, William G. “Jerry” Strickland of Waycross; a sister, Dagmar Abasov of Jacksonville; and numerous other relatives.
A memorial service was held Sunday, January 5 at Music Funeral Home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
