Randall Eric , 50, of Hoboken, passed away early Sunday morning, December 8, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, following an extended illness.

Born September 23, 1974, in Waycross, he was a son of Shirlon Smith and the late Gaines Lewis . He lived all his life in Hoboken and was a 1993 graduate of Brantley County High School. He had worked as a self-employed carpenter and as a laborer at Scapa Dryers.

He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Chris and his grandparents, Adam and Maysie and Bennie and Winnie Smith.

Survivors include his two children, Garrett and Lauren , both of Hoboken; mother, Shirlon Smith , Hoboken; brother, Tony Howard (wife Maria), Blackshear; sister-in-law, Wendy , Hoboken; two nephews, Brett Howard, Waycross and Tony Howard Jr. (wife Kyley), Bluffton, S.C.; great-niece, Zoey Howard and great-nephew, Cooper Howard; special friend, Tish Thrift of Hoboken and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church near Hoboken.

Interment followed in the High Bluff Cemetery.
