WAYCROSS — Mrs. Gladys Seabolt McClelland, 83, died Saturday morning March 22, 2025, at Hospice House Satilla after an extended illness.

Mrs. McClelland was born March 17, 1942 in Appling County to the late L. K. Seabolt and Elouise Black Seabolt. She was formerly employed as a Registered Nurse having worked at Memorial Hospital, Baptist Village and in home health. She was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Ben Gibbs Chapter where she made quilts for children. Mrs. McClelland enjoyed sewing, quilting and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husbands, Franklin Bullard, Jasper Chancey and Joel McClelland; and children, Darryl Timothy Chancey, Huey and Jeff Neats.

Survivors include three children, Jason Chancey (Angela), Teresa Land (James) and Frank Bullard all of Waycross; grandchildren, Dawton Strickland, Michael Amendola, Jen Amendola Randall (Peter), Patrice Herrin, Velvet Moore, Cash Sweat, Kerrigan Sweat and Megan Bullard; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Guynella Tuten of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, March 25 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in New Home Cemetery in Offerman.
