Faye Clark Nash Bobo
Faye Clark Nash Bobo
A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, the Cedar Grove native lived in Wayne County for 64 years. She was a jack-ofall- trades, from farm picking as a child, working in OB at a young age to sewing factories and bartending in her “second” young age.
Mrs. Bobo was a true force of nature, known for her vibrant personality, tell-it-like-it-is mouth, and infectious laughter, which could light up any room. An absolute “pistol” at heart, she had a knack for making every gathering special.
Mrs. Bobo was passionate about watching her birds and gardening, finding solace and beauty in nurturing her plants. Her green thumb brought life not just to her garden, but also to the lives of her family and friends. Additionally, she loved fishing, being outdoors, and creating cherished memories with loved ones.
Her legacy will forever be the laughter and warmth she shared, the countless crazy and cherished memories created, and the love she instilled in her family and friends.
Mrs. Bobo was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe “Roe” Clark and Cassie Clark Cherry of Cedar Grove; two husbands, W.T. Nash of Jesup and William Bobo of Screven; a son, Joey Nash of Jesup; and three sisters, Lavern Ford, Betty Doran and Blanche Shelling.
Survivors are her brother, Robert Clark, (wife Marjorie) of Odum; sister, Lynn Abbot of Douglasville, Ga.; sons, Tony Nash (wife Tammy) of Jesup and Todd Nash of Screven; a daughter, Angela Nash of Hortense; and grandchildren, Ricky Nash of Fitzgerald, Stacy Nash of Jesup, Harold Nash (wife Allison) of Surrency, Heidi Nash (fiancé Brooks Hulsey) of Brunswick, Cinnamon Drawdy (husband Josh) of Waynesville, Danielle Bass (husband Charlie) of Braselton, Ga., Cody Nash (wife Kendra) of Thomaston, Chase Turner of Atkinson, Cassie Nash of Jesup, and Miranda Nash of Jesup; amd also 24 great-grandchildren.
As we remember Mrs. Bobo, we celebrate her remarkable spirit and the countless lives she touched. She will be dearly missed but will continue to live on in our hearts and memories.
