Mrs. Gunter was born in Brantley County to the late A.C. Gunter and Corrine Lavonne Howell Gunter.

She worked as a nail technician for a number of years and also worked as a homecare nurse.

Mrs. Gunter is survived by her children, Terry Moore (Kim) of Yulee, Fla., Joy Wilkerson of St. Mary’s and Eric Salis (Yvonne) of Jacksonville, Fla.; her grandchildren, Britni Hubner (Jason), Lyndsay Watson (David), Jordyn Moore, Zach Spencer, Jessica Spencer, Branden Salis, Jacob Salis and Jasmyne Salis; her great grandchildren, Zayne Watson and Adley Salis; her siblings, Linda Peters and Darlene Thompson (Al), both of Jacksonville, Fla.; and numerous

nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service was held Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Music Funeral Home.

Burial followed in High Bluff Cemetery.
