The Florida native had lived in Brantley County the past 20 years and was a member of Little Memorial Baptist Church and was a former dental assistant.

She enjoyed taking care of her home and yard.

Her husband, James Paul Loper preceded her in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Cindy James of Sanford, Fla.; a son, Thomas Bowen of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Earl Sparkman and Timothy Sparkman, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Frankie, Debbie and Audrey; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral services was held Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Little Cemetery in Hortense with Pastor Keith Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup was in charge of arrangements.

Loper
