Cannon Daley Rewis
Rewis was born in Brunswick to Jerry and Dara Sapp Rewis. He lived in Brantley County all of his life.
Rewis graduated from Brantley County High School in 2020 and was a member of Twin Rivers Baptist Church. He always loved to ride his buggy, deer hunting, fishing and especially loved music.
He is survived by his wife, Madelin Marie Rewis of Hortense; two dogs that were like their children, Winnie and Graham; his parents, Jerry and Dara Sapp Rewis; one sister and brother-in-law, Lilly and Bryce Jarrard of Screven; one brother and sister-inlaw, Baelin and Gena Rewis of Hortense; two nieces, Stella Harter and Nova Rewis; maternal grandfather and step grandmother, Darrell and Linda Sapp of Raybon, maternal grandmother, Ann Strickland of Raybon; paternal grandfather, Rudy Rewis of Screven, paternal grandmother, Dale Rewis of Hortense; paternal great grandmother, Joyce Rowell of Hilliard, Fla; mother-inlaw and father-in-law, Jessica and Johnny Barker of Waynesville; two brothers-in-law, Clayton and Connor Barker of Waynesville; two special friends, Colby Shuman and Mikayla Kersey, both of Hortense; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
A funeral service was held Monday afternoon, November 25, 2024 at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home.
Burial followed in Twin Rivers Cemetery in Hortense.
Pallbearers were Colby Shuman, Lance Rewis, Zack Mosley, Isaac Rewis, Cameron Musgrove, Bryson Lee, Travis Rainey and Virgil Dowling.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Wayne Memorial Hospital ICU, Respiratory Staff, One Day Surgery Staff, Curt Spires and Phillip Suess for all of their care and encouragement throughout this time.
