Mrs. Mandel was born July 28, 1939 in Pierce County to the late Woodrow W. Sweat and Alberta Tillman Sweat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Elise Mandel.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn W. Feagin, Jr. (Carrie Lynn) of Alma and Jeffery Michael Feagin (Shari) from the Forks of the Hurricane; two grandchildren, Jeffery Feagin, Jr., and Leanne Barber of Hoboken; four greatgrands, Hayden and Brody Feagin from the Forks of the Hurricane and Amanda and Eliza Barber of Hoboken; and her brother, Fredrick C. Sweat of Stafford, Va.

Per Mrs. Mandel’s wishes no services will be held.

Crosby Funeral Home of Alma was in charge of arrangements.
