He was born July 22, 1957 in Waycross to the late George Baldwin and Myrtice Mitchell Baldwin. Baldwin graduated from Waycross High School.

Baldwin served in the United States Army for six years. He retired from the City of Waycross Water Department after more than 20 years of service.

He was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Baldwin was preceded in death by his siblings, Larry Baldwin, Elizabeth Baldwin and George “BoBo” Baldwin; and his aunts, Oretha Price (Curt) and Marie Burke (Joseph).

Survivors include his daughter, Christena Green (Johnny) of Tampa, Fla.; his son, Travis Bell (Felisha) of Waycross; grandchildren, Nikayla Green, Tiara Green, E.J. Green, Johnny “Deuce” Green, Jr., and Travis Bell, Jr.; siblings, Laura Ann Moody (Walter), Lawrence Baldwin (Lathyette), Debra Wallace and Harold Baldwin; aunt, Leila Mae Baldwin (late Samuel); and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service was held Saturday, November 23 at Word of Faith Christian Church. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.
