Interment followed at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Allen Dyal, Jason Dyal, Jason Lane, Jasper Allen, Dusty Allen and Parker Peagler.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Twin Oaks Nursing Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southside Church of God, 102 Taylor Rd, Alma, GA 31510.

Stella Jean Allen, 91, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, after an extended illness.

She was the daughter of the late Walter (W.D.) Mattox and Ora Lee Williford Mattox. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death her two brothers J. Walter Mattox and Joey Mattox and three sisters Hazel Lee, Ruth Gaskins and Faye Peacock.

She was a member of Southside Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 75 years, Quitman Allen; three sons, Johnny (Wanda) Allen, Leon (Judy) Allen and Gary (Kay) Allen; one daughter, Connie Lane (Dale Overstreet); one sister Judy Williams (Richie), Baxley; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and two greatgreat grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, from the Southside Church of God with Pastor David Deen and Pastor
