Janice Aldrich , 81, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born February 15, 1943, in

Pierce

County to

Floyd and Arabell Howard Aldrich. She married Clyde January 12, 1963 and they settled in Jacksonville, FL. They raised a son, Anthony (Tony). She was an integral part in the founding of a company Clyde started in 1983, Physician Sales and Service, Inc. After retirement they moved to St. Augustine, FL.

She had a passion for life. She loved gardening and the outdoors. She loved old country music and hymns. She was an active member of the Ancient City Red Hatters. Those closest to her loved her kind, compassionate spirit and her never ending sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd, her mother, Arabell, and her sisters, Ouida and Janette.

Survivors include her brother, Zadok, her son, Tony (Rosalie), her grandchildren, Taryn, Caleb, Brianna and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
