Georgia and Tennessee football game 2022
When Tennessee brought their hound “Smokey” down to Georgia,
They planned to have fun for everyone.
A man called “Legend” from Alabama called the Paul Finebaum show.
And said, “Georgia’s” Quarterback, was a elf on a shelf and that boy
Was too little to run or throw the ball
Folks in Tennessee decided to give Stetson Bennett IV calls all night long,
The thought was that,
He would not be able to sleep and that he would probably weep.
Everybody knew that this was a joke all the folks out there,
Blowing all that smoke.
The football nation had picked Georgia to be a National dream team,
I know that here in Georgia that had always been our theme.
The ball was hiked to Stetson; with a piercing scream and a cloud of dust,
Stetson planned to score or bust, He with his phone in his hand,
Talking as he ran to the right Tennessee end zone.
“Smokey” barked at Coach Heupel, I’m sick l want to go home.
That dog over there just gnawed my bone.
They loaded up and left for Knoxville town. The whole team was dragging,
Those Georgia dogs had just picked ‘em up and put ‘em down.
“Smokey” with his head held low and his tail between his legs. Said,
Alabama’s “Legend” is full of something and it ain’t eggs.
After Tennessee got home, word got around, that those Georgia boys,
Danced all night all night and had a ball like they have never seen, In Carnegie hall Georgia’s cheerleaders they were so pretty was out there doing,
Doing the Ditty WA Ditty.
