Betty Deluna Outlaw Boyett, 91, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Harborview Pierce Nursing Home in Blackshear, after an extended illness.
She was one of six children of the late Walter P. Outlaw and Mamie Shad Outlaw. She retired from JC Penney Company after a lengthy career where she worked in every department there but most of her time was in the customer service department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all her siblings, her husband of 58 years, Bruce Boyett and her granddaughter Christina Boyett.
Survivors include her children, Steve Boyett (Barbara Eberhart), Hilton Boyett (wife Joni) and Lorraine Boyett(Doug Sahr); granddaughter, Amy Boyett-Whiter (husband Nick), Kelly Boyett Welch (husband Todd) and Holly Boyett (Jaden Forgason); great-grandson Declan Whiter and great-granddaughter, Luna Belle Forgason.
Memorialization will be by cremation. There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
