Frances Anderson Bell, 85, of Bristol, passed away late Thursday evening, November 16, 2023, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, following a brief illness.
Born in Micanopy, FL, April 18, 1938, she had lived in Temple Terrace, FL, prior to moving to Blackshear in 1972, where she lived for many years before moving to Waverly 30 years ago. She then moved back to Pierce County to live with her family in 2020. While her husband, Seaborn, was the business man and salesman of their many enterprises, Frances kept everything running behind the scenes. She was the bookkeeper, accountant, and office manager while still running a home and being a mother. Her greatest joy was her family. She had high expectations and did everything to make sure we could meet them. Helping through school, crafting costumes, hosting holidays, cooking dinners, going to movies, shopping trips and much, much more.
She was a daughter of the late William “Bill” Belew and Iris Marie Sapp Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Seaborn Wallace Bell and her sisters, Evelyn Beville, Doris Carter, and Wilma Feaster.
Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Seaborn “Wally” Bell (Eva), Fernandina Beach, FL and William “Rusty” Bell (Tarren), Bristol; four grandchildren, Lindsay Mangieri (Lee), Wil Bell (Lauren), Aaron Bell (Kenny) and Alexis Mills (Micah); great-grandchildren, Troy and Emily Mangieri, James Mills, Addison Stewart and soon to be born, Zoey Bell; one brother, Toby Anderson; one sister-in-law, Esther Bell; one brother-in-law Lester “Bubba” Bell and several beloved nieces and nephews.
At this time, the family would like to express gratitude for the outpouring of love and support. In her memory, remember to “always put your big girl panties on”.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
