Little Miss Maribel Anais Walker, of Pearson, entered the gates of heaven Sunday, April 30, 2023.
Our precious Maribel is preceded in Heaven by her maternal grandfather Armando Efren Ortega, paternal great-grandparents Tollie Chris Walker, Lillian Latrelle Youmans and her maternal great-grandparents Woodrow Wilson Sharpe and Eva Christine Sharpe.
She was born August 26, 2022 and was a bright and shining star to a lost and broken world. She brought smiles, laughter, love and joy to every life, room, and space she occupied. God loaned her to us for eight beautiful months and she brought a piece of Heaven to earth and filled our hearts with pure joy and God’s love. She left a legacy of love here on earth and now she is more alive than she’s ever been, playing with all the other little children at the feet of Jesus. “Daddy’s little girl and mommy’s little angel. You completed your mission here on earth sweet Maribel. Save a place for mama and daddy. We’ll seen you soon our sweet baby,” said her family.
Survivors include her father, Stephen Edward Walker, Douglas; her mother, Autumn Ortega, Douglas; three brothers: Izaiah Armando Walker, Malachi Josiah Walker and Gabriel Eli Walker; one sister, Riley Nicole Walker, Jesup; paternal grandparents, Barbara Susan Richards (Nana), Nahunta and Edward Lee Walker (Papa), Blackshear; maternal grandparents, Maryjane Ortega and Benjamin Garcia, Pearson; maternal great-grandparents, Janice Spikes, Pearson and Joe Tom, Douglas; aunts, Ashlee Luca Davis (Scot), Nahunta Isabel Ortega and Mayra Contreras, both of Pearson; uncles, Dewight Lee Walker, Blackhear and Justin Clay Walker, Waycross, Armando Efren Ortega Jr. and Benjamin Garcia II, both of Pearson; cousins, Abagail Amya Fields, Coda Mykah Fields and many other cousins.
