Mary Lois Clifton Beverly

Mary Lois Clifton Beverly, 71, of Blackshear, passed away Monday evening, May 1, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Blackshear August 19, 1951, she had lived in Pierce County most of her life.  She was a 1969 graduate of Blackshear High School and had worked for Family Dollar for several years.  She enjoyed going out to eat with and spending time with friends, fishing, and cooking. She was a member of the Blackshear Church of God.

She was a daughter of the late Leander Clifton and Sarah Kathleen Owens Smith and Frank Smith. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Connie Allday.

Survivors include her daughter, Alicia (Kenny) Aldridge, Waycross; two sons, Kevin Guest (Nicole), Jacksonville and Shannon (Ava) Guest, Folkston; a sister, Bonnie (Lamar) Roberson, Blackshear; two brothers, Irving (Marie) Smith and Wayne (Linda) Smith, all of Blackshear; a brother-in-law, Frankie Allday, Blackshear; five grandchildren, Jesse (Travis) Kiser, Wade Aldridge, Kelby Guest, Taylor Guest and Savannah Guest; seven great- grandchildren, Trinity Kiser, Cailyn Kiser, Ayden Kiser, Jace Aldridge, Raegan Aldridge, Ava Charity and Cannon Demery and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will take place from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, at the Blackshear Church of God.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, from the Blackshear Church of God with the Rev. Clinton Kearney and the Rev. John Williams officiating.

Interment will be in the Enon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to GHC Hospice at 1908 Tebeau St., Waycross, GA  31501.
