Stetson Bennett IV, former Pierce County Bear and two time defending National Champion quarterback with the University of Georgia Bulldogs was selected in the fourth round, pick number 128 overall, of the NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams April 29.
The Rams won the 2022 Super Bowl with another former Georgia Bulldog Quarterback, Matthew Stafford. Bennett led the Bulldogs to an undefeated 15-0 season and second straight National Championship January 9 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, the home stadium of the Rams. The Bulldogs defeated Texas Christian University (TCU) 65-7.
In the National Championshi, Bennett IV threw for 304 yards with four touchdown passes, added two rushing touchdowns and was named the offensive most valuable player (MVP).
