Beck: Let your voice be heard on issues at library

Editor, The Times:

Let your voice be heard.

First Coast News reported the following May 2: “Dozens of people from Waycross and neighboring towns, showed up to Monday night’s Okefenokee Regional Library System board meeting to share concerns they had with an LGBTQ+ mural and bathroom usage at the Waycross-Ware County Public Library.”

“It’s particularly important for people who have been marginalized in other areas of the area that they are able to come here and feel welcomed and appreciated,” one of our Blackshear neighbors noted on the news cast.

I assume he’s referring to the LGBTQ+ community. This community has the support of the federal government, academia, the corporate news media and large companies. If you violate their secular doctrine, that men and women are biologically different, we have two* genders, male and female, you may be excommunicated from civil society.

Do we want a society supporting a transgender agenda, where boys become infertile or girl’s are eunuchs? Absurd isn’t it?

Stand up for common sense. Attend school and library board meetings. Volunteer with the PTA and Friends of the Library. Let your voice be heard.

*Ambiguous genitalia, a rare condition in which an infant’s external genitals don’t appear to be clearly either male or female.
