A suspect on the run from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, showed up for his court date and was promptly arrested.
Dentric Devon Moore was taken into custody at the courthouse Tuesday, May 16.
Moore had been wanted for possession of cocaine, possession and use of drug related objects, manufacture/possession of controlled or counterfeit marijuana and use of communications facility in the commission of a controlled substance felony.
“We had warrants on him and had been searching for him, but had been unable to find him,” said Sheriff Ramsey Bennett. “He showed up for his court date. You might say he turned himself in.”
Deputy Hunter Griffin and Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Unit Investigator Wayne Mercer took Moore in to custody.
