Better Hometown offers thanks

Editor, The Times:

Our town really is the best!

The Better Hometown Blackshear (BHB) Board and the  City of Blackshear would like to say thank you to everyone who came out Friday night April 28 to enjoy our 5th Annual Beats & Eats event in Blackshear City Park.

The evening was anchored by a Vibrant Community Grant from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and BHB sponsors. All the wonderful food vendors expressed just how great and how profitable an evening they experienced. Most food trucks sold-out…crazy, right?

Music by The Royals couldn’t be dampened by a little bit of rain and everyone’s spirits were high! Simply put, it was a great night!

So, thanks Blackshear & Pierce County for showing up and supporting live music, local vendors, and your Main Street/Better Hometown Blackshear Program!

Till next year!
