Peace Officers Memorial Day held

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office observed National Peace Officer Memorial Day last week. Day shift employees at the sheriff’s office gathered to honor and remember fallen officers during the observance. “Law enforcement is a dangerous profession as evidenced by statistics.  These statistics are a reminder of why each of us should be grateful to the members of our law enforcement, not only in Pierce County, but across the nation.  Thank you to each of our Pierce County Sheriff’s office staff.  We appreciate each of you,” said Sheriff Ramsey Bennett.
