Huldah Ruth Floyd Altman, 67, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday evening, October 8, 2023, at Wellstar MCG Health in Augusta, following a short illness.
Born November 3, 1955, in Jesup, she lived all over south Georgia before moving to Pierce County in 1987. She was retired as a CNA at the Pierce County Nursing Home and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Regina Altman.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Carl Altman, Blackshear; three children, Angela Starling (husband Frank), Christopher Altman (Danielle Batten) and Carl Altman Sr. (wife Sue), all of Blackshear; a daughter-in-law, Chris Presley, Blackshear; 11 grandchildren, James Sandusky, Samantha Sandusky, Brady Starling, Hunter Altman, Mason Altman, Junior Altman, Cheyenne Altman, Emily Altman, Jacque Griffin, Kelsea McGuire and Felicity Altman; six great-grandchildren and several other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the funeral home.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, from the Blackshear City Cemetery.
