Recreation Dept. thanks spring sports sponsors

Spring sports are in full swing at the Pierce County Recreation Department and we would like to publicly thank our sponsors for the 2023 spring sports programming. Over 550 children will be playing baseball, softball, soccer and kickball this spring.    

Sponsoring kickball which is the Recreation Department’s newest program for three and four year olds, are Five Points Lawn Center, Winlectric and Hodges Plumbing. Machine Pitch Lite for boys and girls ages five and six are being sponsored by Front Street Media, Mossy Pond Outfitters and Hunting Lodge, Morris Timber and Dogwood Memories with C2 Renovations and David Bell Trucking sponsoring the 5/6 Coed Big Kickers Soccer teams.

Sponsors for the 2023 baseball program include Five Points Lawn Center, Walker Jones of Waycross, The Insulation Company, Sauls Realty, Coastal Truss & Vinyl, Barbers Pharmacy, Patterson Pharmacare, Crossway Realty, Blessed Grounds Keeping, Finishing Touch and Clough Pecan.

The 2023 softball leagues are being sponsored by Piggly Wiggly of Blackshear, Greenbacks Tax Services,  Denton & Tanner Insurance Agency, Ferrell Law, Wilson Investigation and Lollipop Kids.

Co-ed Soccer sponsors are Jake and Ed’s Men Shop of Waycross, Pierce Tree Works, Heartland Fiber, Prime South Bank of Blackshear, Pierce Timber, Hart Funeral Home, Corbitt Cabinets, Bargeron Electric, Walker Jones, Compass Realty and Professional Floor Installation.

Spring banner sponsors include Lollipop Kids, Coastal Truss & Vinyl, Pearson-Dial Funeral Home, 5 Points Lawn Care, Cal-Maine, Patterson Pharmacare, Pearce Cubs Early Learning, Walls IGA, Tanner Auto Repair, Better Hometown, First Baptist Church of Blackshear, Lee Hardware Building & Supply and Howard Meadows – State Farm Insurance Agency.

The Pierce County Recreation Board would like to send our thanks to each and every sponsor for our spring season.  The sponsorships are vitally important to carry out day to day operations in support of our youth.  With your generosity the kids of Pierce County will have a brighter future.
