Eric Doyle Deal, 69, of Bristol, died Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
A native of Wayne County, he had lived in Bristol all of his life and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a former tradesman and enjoyed fishing, reading and researching old home sites. His parents, the Rev. Doyle and Louise Dixon Deal preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Erica Lynn Deal, Tampa, FL; two sisters, Sandra (Dwight) Sellers, Alma and Sarita (William) Pope, Macon; three brothers, Adrian Deal, Screven, Anthony (Margaret) Deal and Johnny Deal, both of Douglas and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 16, from the Lake Chapel Cemetery with Elder Jason Deal officiating.
Active pallbearers will be family.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
