Alpha Dianne Davis, 83, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at her residence in Blackshear, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Blackshear, to the late Owen Harris and Mildred Tanner Harris. She became a registered nurse at St. Joseph Catholic School in Savannah and eventually retired from Waterman Memorial Hospital in Eustis, FL. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Tink Harris, Ted Harris and Donnie Harris.
Survivors include her husband, Hubert Terrell Davis, Blackshear; a daughter, Cynthia Dianne Eason, Odum; a son, Michael Terrell Davis, Blackshear; two grandchildren, Alex Terrell Davis (Tori) and Taylor George Davis (Sinead), all of Sarasota, FL; four great-grandchildren, Eleanor Davis, Waylon Davis, Rowan Davis and Slyvie Davis and a special niece, Sally Harris, Blackshear.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorialization is by cremation.
