Lewis Clinton “Clint” Peacock Jr., 48, of Mershon, passed away Monday afternoon, April 10, 2023, at his residence.
Born in Waycross, March 15, 1975, he had lived in Pierce County all his life before moving to Bacon County two years ago. He was a 1993 graduate of Pierce County High School. He was employed by Southern Nuclear at Plant Hatch where he worked as a refueling technician and nuclear mechanic. He loved to hunt, fish, cook and mow grass. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He was a son of the late Lewis Clinton “L.C.” Sr. and Jeanne Diane Gilbert Peacock.
Survivors include his daughter, Maggie Raine Peacock, Mershon; his son and daughter-in-law, Trey sand Michaela Peacock, Blackshear; his step-son and his mother, Turner Bagley and Lana Turner, Mershon; his sister, Tish Peacock, Jesup; his brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Keisha Peacock of Baxley; the mother of his children, Sherri (Brandon) Bennett, Mershon; his granddaughter, Alivia Blakely Peacock; nieces and nephews, Malarie Peacock, Beau-Grayson Peacock and Bryce Peacock and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, April 16, at the Beulah Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 16, from the Beulah Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the Beulah Cemetery.
