Estus Bernard Sharpe, 44, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023.
He was born November 22, 1978, at Pierce County Hospital in Blackshear, to the parentage of Estus and Rosa Ann Farmer Sharpe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Estus Sharpe, his grandparents, Sam (Rosa Mae) Farmer and Elizabeth Huff and Willie Sharp.
He attended Pierce County public school system. He was a very kind and helpful person. He touched everyone’s lives in his own way. He had a soul that was involved in the well-being of his family and others. He was often misunderstood yet was a very special loving person.
“A chain link in our family has been broken, a loved one now gone too soon. We will miss you and always love you dearly. In the end one day we’ll be united once again,” said his family.
He leaves to cherish his memories with his children: Emoni Harris, Waycross; Zayanhon Baisden, Elijah Baisden, Seattle,WA, Shyann Ellis, Waycross; his mother: Rose Ann Booth, Patterson; two brothers, Frederick (Tracy) Cummings, Patterson and William (Sarah) Sharp, Blackshear; two sisters, Audrey (Quarry) Dinkins, Virginia Beach, VA and Danielle Sharpe, Blackshear; three uncles, Clarence Lee Sharpe, Augusta, SC, Joseph (Myra) Farmer, Waycross and Lester Farmer, Miami, FL; four aunts, Elizabeth Kelly, Jesup, Alma Haynes, Lumber City, Patricia (Pat) Palmer, Patterson and Martha Ann (David) Wilkins, Screven; nieces and nephews: Chyna Davis, Nigeria Hardy, Savannah Gonzalez, Kezia Cummings, Nigel Brown, William Sharp, Miracle Dinkins and Major Sharp and a host of cousins and sorrowing friends.
A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 14, at the funeral home, 505 Ware Street, Blackshear.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, from the New Bethel Life Changing Ministry, 521 Brown Street, Screven.
Interment will follow in the Kingsville Cemetery near Offerman.
