Cathy Ann Cochran Steward, 73, of Blackshear, passed away Saturday evening, March 11, 2023, at her residence.
Born in Eastman June 4, 1949, she had lived in Pierce County most of her life. She was the owner/operator for many years of C & S Catering Company. She always enjoyed a good trip to the beach and spending time with her family always brought her great joy. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Blackshear.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph Robert and Ruth Ann Rutherford Cochran. She was also preceded in death by two of her sisters, Lana Ruth Loback and Wanda Jean Cochran.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Steward, Blackshear; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ted (Jessie) Lewis, Blackshear and James (Sharon) Steward, Stuart, FL; seven grandchildren, Lee (Madison) Swain, Novil Arnold, Graci Williams, Matti Williams, Bradley (Anna) Steward, Elliott Steward and Emelie Steward; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Deloach, Blackshear; a brother-in-law, Jack Loback, Blackshear and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mary Ann Braswell officiating.
Interment will be in the Blackshear City Cemetery.
