Conrad Thornton, co-operator of Otter Creek Restaurant near Patterson, has passed away. Thornton, 92, passed away last Monday, Feb. 27, following an extended illness.
For over 20 years, Thornton operated the popular rustic eatery alongside his wife, Dianne Harris Thornton.
Prior to his work in the restaurant business, Thornton was involved in real estate in the Waycross area.
He was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Waycross.
A graveside funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon, March 1, at the Oakland Cemetery in Waycross.
