Property owners can receive ‘FANS’

Pierce County property owners can now receive a notification any time filings are made related to their property in Pierce County Superior Court Clerk’s Office.

Thomas Sauls, Clerk of Court, said his office is now offering the service inc onjunction with the Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority (GSCCCA).

The program, known as Filing Activity Notification System or FANS, is free and completely voluntary.

“We are always looking for ways to better serve our citizens,” said Sauls. “We hope you find this service to be beneficial as Pierce County Superior Court Clerk’s office continues to explore and implement new ways to improve services delivered to the citizens of Pierce County.”

Residents sign up on FANS and will receive an electronic notification of filing activity related to their property.

FANS will notify property owners of such filing activity as items related to personal property, liens and plat filings.

Citizens can simply register here https://fans.gsccca.org/ with an email address or telephone number. After submitting a name, the user will receive an email and/or text notification whenever a filing related to that name is filed in the selected records.

Users of the FANS program are cautioned that the notifications generated by the system are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete, and use of the system is subject to on acknowledgment of these conditions.
