Joe Biden wants to give billions to relieve college loans — to put the money back raise taxes.
My wife and I moved to Pierce County in 1978. Our two children went to school here, later to college. We paid for everything! Last year my taxes were more in school taxes than property taxes. I am almost 70 years old and living on Social Security and barely getting by.
I think that senior citizens should not have to pay for new schools, football fields, baseball fields and ag buildings. Something’s got to change!
I think long-time residents of Pierce County have paid enough for education!
