John Ezra Jackson IV
John Ezra Jackson IV, 59, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Kindred Hospital of North Florida in Green Cove Springs, FL.
Born in Waycross December 15, 1963, he had lived in Pierce County during his younger years and in Statesboro during his late teens but had lived in Florida since 2000. He was a 1981 graduate of Statesboro High School and was in the exterior construction business. He enjoyed music, spending time with family — especially his grandchildren and just relaxing.
He was the son of the late John Ezra III and Joanne Erdmier Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Sullivan Jackson and his sister, Janet Jackson.
Survivors include his daughter, Macy Jackson, Jacksonville, FL; his son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Roxanne Jackson, Middleburg, FL; five grandchildren, Aiden Jackson, Landon Jackson, Joanna Jackson, Aubrey Jackson and Emily Jackson and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, August 26, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in the Winn-Thomas Cemetery.
