Teresa Darlene Altman Wilson, 68, of Blackshear, passed away Monday morning, April 21, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Blackshear March 23, 1957, she had lived most of her life in Pierce County. She had worked for many years as a seamstress with Julie Hat Co. in Patterson but had most recently been employed by Williamson Income Tax Service. She loved being outdoors, whether hunting or fishing. She also loved to cook and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved very much.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph Alan and Alveta Thornton Altman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion Steve Wilson Jr.; a daughter, Liz Sharpe; and a brother, Troy Altman.
Survivors include her son, Nick (Kim) Hickox, Brunswick; a sister, Harriett (David) Williams, Blackshear; two brothers, Joey Altman, Alma and Stevie Altman,Blackshear; three grandchildren, Bill Sharpe Jr., Taylor (Darian) Sharpe and MiKayla McIlwain; one great-grandson, River Wade Sharpe and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A private family burial will be held Saturday, April 26, at Shiloh Cemetery.
