Sandra Jean Hendricks, 86, of Blackshear (formerly of Kingsport, Tennessee), passed away Thursday afternoon, April 17, 2025, at Satilla Bluffs Senior Care following an extended illness.
Born December 25, 1938, in Kingsport, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Mays Hendricks and Ella Sue Tritt Woods. She had worked at the Kingsport Times News and retired as a teacher from Ketron Elementary School in Kingsport. She was a member of the Kingsport United Methodist Church.
Survivors include several cousins and friends.
