Historical Society meets April 28

The next meeting of the historical society will take place at 6 p.m. Monday, April 28, at the Historic Blackshear Train Depot on SW Central Avenue, Blackshear. Everyone is invited to attend.

Coastal Pines Shooting Tournament April 26 Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation will have its 10th annual sporting clays tournament April 26 at the Dorchester Shooting Preserve in Midway.

Proceeds from the event are used to fund scholarships for CPTC students.

Mom’s Night Out held May 1

Moms, are you ready for a night out? The care team at Memorial Satilla Specialists Women’s Health is excited to announce Mom’s Night Out, at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 1. The event will be held at the practice, 505 S. City Blvd. Waycross, GA.

Mom’s Night Out is free and open to all moms, but attendees must register online at memorialsatillahealth. com/calendar or call 912-584-6201. Come help us celebrate Women’s Health Month and Mothers Day! Meet our women's health providers, enjoy refreshments and win a few prizes.

Birthing Center Tour May 6

Memorial Satilla Health provides tours of its stateof- the-art labor and delivery unit from 5-7 p.m. at 1900 Tebeau Street Waycross on dates throughout the year.

The 2025 Birthing Center tours are scheduled for May 6, June 19, July 20, August 2, September 8, October 16 and November 4.
