• Vehicular Homicide 1st Degree, Hit and Run, Driving Without a License: Carlos Joaquin Espana Garcia, a 45-year-old Hispanic male, was arrested March 22, 2025 and charged with Vehicular Homicide 1st Degree, Hit and Run, and Driving Without a License.
Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Hunter Griffin responded to an area in Pierce County. After initial contact, Deputy Griffin requested assistance from Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
An investigation led to the arrest of Garcia.
• Possession of Methamphetamine: Amanda Paige Harrison, a 31-year-old white female, was arrested and charged March 24, 2025 with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Pierce County Sheriff’s K9 Sgt. Michael James conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County ending with the arrest of Harrison.
• Aggravated Stalking, Felony Warrant for Aggravated Stalking: Wendell Duane Meadows, a 57-year-old white male, was arrested March 25, 2025 and charged with Aggravated Stalking and served a Felony Warrant for Aggravated Stalking.
K9 Sgt. James and Deputies Colene Thrift and Bryce Edwards responded to a residence in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Meadows.
• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Related Objects: Shannon Bryonna Junay Wolfe, a 25-year-old white male, was arrested Saturday, March 29, 2025 and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Landry Lloyd was requested by Georgia State Patrol to assist in a traffic stop in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Wolfe.
• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Scheduled II Controlled Substance, Drugs Not in Original Container, Possession of Drug Related Objects: Lester Carleton McLeod, a 44-year-old white male, was arrested Thursday, April 3, 2025 and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Scheduled II Controlled Substance, Drugs Not in Original Container and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
K9 Sgt. James responded to a residence March 25, 2025. After initial contact, ACE Unit Investigators were requested.
Upon further investigation, a search warrant was requested and obtained. ACE Unit Investigators Greg Nettles and Wayne Mercer, Lt. Jacob Winters, and K9 Sgt. James executed the warrant arresting McLeod.
