AUGUSTA — Mrs. Lorri Leigh Stewart Meyer, 65, died Thursday morning, April 3, 2025, at Wellstar Medical College of Georgia of Augusta after an extended
illness.

Mrs. Meyer was born March 4, 1960 in Jacksonville, Fla., to the late Harry Prevatt and Pat Prater Prevatt.
She graduated from Waycross High School in 1978. Mrs. Meyer was formerly employed by Dr. Dan Lott for 25 years as an office manager.
She was a member of Youmans Chapel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Meyer was a very creative person who was known for her successful T-shirt business.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Meyer was also preceded in death by her first husband, Buddy Stewart; and her sister, Susan Fullard.
Survivors include her husband, Wally Meyer of Blackshear; two children, Rebecca Brown (B.J.) of Blackshear and Matt Stewart of Waycross; stepchildren, Nicholas Meyer and Christopher Meyer, both of Kingsland; 10 grandchildren, Jackson, Marleigh Kate, Charisma, Jakai, Kaleb, Tristen, Christopher, Eli, Isabella and Kinzey; her mother, Pat Prater Prevatt; siblings, Debra Tillman (Dorsey) and David Prevatt (Pam); and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Saturday, April 12 at Enon Cemetery in Pierce County. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday, April 11 at Music Funeral Home.
