Antioch Baptist has giveaway Saturday Historic Antioch Baptist Church is sponsoring a giveaway of clothes, shoes and other personal items from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 12 on the church grounds, 615 Knight Avenue.
All items are free to the community. The church is accepting items from the public. Those interested in donating may bring contributions to the church the morning of the event.
Aglow Lighthouse to meet Saturday The Waycross Aglow Lighthouse will have its regular monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12 in the main sanctuary of Our Beloved Church, 1700 Osceola Avenue.
This will be a time of fellowship, worship, sharing and encouraging one another in the Lord through testimonies and praise. There is power from on high released from spoken affirmations.
The power of the testimonies of others encourages our hearts, giving us peace, comfort, healing and the assurance of God’s love and faithfulness.
River of Life starts resource program River of Life Church, 1439 Brunel Street, offers a community resource center from 10 a.m. to noon, the fourth Friday of each month.
The program will offer practical life skills, hot meals, clothing and more. Next session is April 25.
