WAYNESVILLE — Robert Keith Lowe, 69 of Waynesville, passed away Sunday morning, April 6, 2025 at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross after an extended illness.
Lowe was born in Folkston to the late Lee Edwin Lowe and Willie Mae Horne Dyal. He lived in Kingsland most of his life and moved to Waynesville in 2013.
Lowe retired from Stokes Construction in Baldwin, Fla. He was a member of Harbor Worship Center in Camden County. Lowe was a member of Dusty Trails Hunting Club and always enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Edwin Lowe and Willie Mae Horne Dyal; one son, Ronald Bradley “Bubba” Foreman.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Chancey Lowe of Waynesville; four children, April Rogers (husband Vincent) of Kingsland, Misty Davison (husband Mike) of Hortense, Mike Foreman (wife Christy) of Waynesville and Justin Lowe of Folkston; nine grandchildren, Bailey Rogers (Cheyenne) and Ryan Rogers, both of Kingsland, Kordd Davison (Melessa) of Hortense, Spring Gillis (Nick) and Cricket O’Neal (Matthew) all of Hickox, Shade Davison of Hortense, Hunter Foreman (Lexie) of Nahunta, Savannah Gill (Hunter) of Offerman and Brantley Foreman of Waynesville; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Donna Hightower (Sammy) of Folkston, Tammy Nettles (Wade) of Kingsland and Stacey Koonce (Clifford) of Kingsland; step-father, Darrel Dyal of Kingsland; special caregiver, Ashley Carter; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Monroe Gill and Rev. Mike Sanes officiating.
Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bailey Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Kordd Davison, Nick Gillis, Matthew O’Neal, Shade Davison, Hunter Foreman, Hunter Gill and Brantley Foreman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Warner, Gary Knox, and Justin Beaver.
