Sheriff’s Report

• David Wayne Merritt, 28, was arr ested Sunday, March 16, and charged with felony - terroristic threats and acts (intimidation).

Deputy Colene Thrift responded to an area in Pierce County leading to Merritt’s arrest.

• Jonathan Jones III, 36, was arrested Wednesday, March 19, and charged with felony - possession of firearm by convicted felon.

Deputy Travis Courson, Deputy Landry Lloyd and Deputy Jacob Holmes responded to an area in Pierce County leading to Jones’ arrest.

• Alison Beverly Hunsinger, 36, was arrested Friday, March 21, and charged with felony - possession of methamp hetamine, two counts of cruelty to children first degree, fleeing and eluding, criminal damage to property - first degree, misdemeanor - obstruction to law enforcement officers, possession of marijuana less than 1oz and possession of drug related objects.

Deputy Hunter Griffin was assisting a checkpoint in an area in Pierce County that led to Hunsinger's arrest.

• Kenneth Lorenzo Miller, 63, was arrested Sunday, March 23, and charged with felony - possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than 1oz, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, no seat belt, failure to maintain lane and possession of drug related objects.

Aggressive Crime Enforcement (ACE) Unit Investigator Greg Nettles conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County resulting in Miller’s arrest.
