The president's list recognizes full-time students who earned a semester GPA of 4.0 andhaveacumulativeGPAof 2.0 or higher. The dean’s list recognizesCPTCstudentsenrolled full time who have earned a semester GPA of 3.75 - 3.99 out of a possible 4.0 and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Students who enrolled in 6-11 credit hours during the semester and achieve a 3.75 or higher-grade point average with a 2.0 cumulative GPA are awarded the academic achievement award.

GeorgiaStateUniversity Alexis Cason and Makayla St. Val, both of Blackshear were named to the fall 2024 president's list at Georgia State University in Atlanta.

To be eligible for the President's List, degreeseeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 4.0 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken.

John Cason of Blackshear was named to the fall 2024 dean's list.

To be eligible for the dean's list, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken.

Valdosta State University Valdosta State University is proud to announce the members of its graduating class of Fall 2024.

Abigail Cuneo of Blackshear earned the Master of Education in Health and Physical Education (Grades PreK-12).

Essence Ford of Patterson earned the Master of Arts in Teaching in World Languages.

Mary Gunter of Blackshear earned the Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Accomplished Teaching.

Cameron Harrelson of Blackshear earned the Education Specialist in Teacher Leadership.

Judah Hodges of Blackshear earned the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.

Katelyn Manning of Blackshear earned the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Katherine Thornton of Blackshear earned the Master of Education in Communication Disorders.

College of Charleston Jackson Gambrell, of Blackshear, was named to the College of Charleston Fall 2024 dean's list. Gambrell is majoring in political science and accounting.

To qualify for the dean's list, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Kennesaw State University

Danarius Johnson of Patterson has been named to Kennesaw State University's Fall 2024 Dean's List in recognition of academic achievement.

Majoring in Integrated Health Science, Johnson is among more than 9,000 students named to the Fall 2024 Dean's List.

To qualify, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher while completing a minimum of nine credit hours.

Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Chyna Carter of Blackshear was recently elected to membershipintoTheHonor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at Mercer University.

Carter is among approximately 20,000 students, school faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.
