Hickox Christian announces Revival HICKOX — Hickox Christian Faith Chapel will be holding four days of Revival services.
Two services will be held Sunday, April 6 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., at 5231 Hwy. 301 South.
Services are schedule to begin at 7 p.m., Monday, April 7 through Wednesday, April 9.
Tim Gardner will be the guest speaker for the event.
BCSO hosting golf tourney, Sat., May 3 NAHUNTA — The Second Annual Brantley County Sheriff’s Office Charity Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, May 3 at The Lakes Golf Course at Laura S. Walker State Park.
The four-man scramble format will start with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Check-in begins at 7 p.m.
The cost is $400 per team with a 28-team field limit. Deadline for entering is Monday, April 21.
Proceeds are earmarked for the “Shop with a Cop” program held each December.
The prize money is $1,000 for first place, $500 for second and $250 for third. There will be hole prices.
Certification for Lifeguard’s set
BRUNSWICK — The Glynn County Recreation and Parks Department is hosting an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class.
A spring break class is scheduled for Monday, March 31 thru Friday, April 4 at the Neptune Park Fun Zone Pool. A blended learning class is scheduled for Thursday, April 24 thru Saturday, April 25.
The fee is $175 and class size is limited.

BCSO holding a 50-50 raffle for $2 NAHUNTA — The Brantley County Sheriff’s Office is holding a 50-50 raffle in conjunction with is second annual golf tournament.
Tickets are $2 each with the drawing scheduled the day of the golf tournament at The Lakes Golf Course at Laura S. Walker State Park., Saturday, May 3.
You do not have to be present to win. Proceeds will go the “Shop with a Cop” program.
SGHS seeking teen volunteers BRUNSWICK – Volunteering at Southeast Georgia Health System is a great way for high school students to explore health care careers as well as earn the volunteer hours required for many college scholarship applications.
Students age 16-18 years old who have an interest in health care may earn 20 volunteer service hours by participating in the Health System’s teen volunteer program.
Applications for the summer session, which begins in June, are available now and will be accepted through Friday, April 11.
Teen volunteers must attend one of the volunteer orientations.
The Brunswick Campus orientation is Wednesday, May 28, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and the Camden Campus orientation is Thursday, May 29, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
