UNDATED — Wanda “Sissy” Campbell died peacefully March 16, 2025 at her residence in Brantley County at the age of 69.
Mrs. Campbell was born in 1955 in Brunswick and grew up on St. Simons. She later moved to Brantley County to be closer to her father. Mrs. Campbell worked at IAP for 10 years until her health deteriorated and she retired.
She was a loving soul who could talk to anyone who would talk with her. Her hobbies included embroidery and a love for reading. Mrs. Campbell especially loved a good murder mystery book and mystery television shows.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Sarah Holmes; and her sister, Retha Baker.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by her sons, Ron (Cheyenne) Campbell Jr. of Brantley County and Andrew Campbell of Brunswick; her brother, Andy (Charlene) Holmes of St. Simons; her grandson, Cory Griffin of Brantley.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A private service will be held at home.
