Cancer survivors focus of MSH event

Memorial Satilla Health stages Making Over Cancer from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 31 at the hospital, 2900 Tebeau Street.

The event is open to any cancer survivors in the area. It is designed to honor survivors with a well-deserved day of TLC.

The hospital is accepting nominations for the makeover program by visiting either www.makingover cancer.org or [email protected]. Family and friends are urged to nominate a survivor as a surprise while self-nominations are highly encouraged.

There will be professional makeup and hairstylists available and a photographer for a makeover picture. There also will be inspirational speakers.

Swag bags will be given away and their will be refreshments.
