WAYCROSS — Ima Jean Sweat Hineline, 59 of Waycross, died early Wednesday morning, March 19 at Memorial Satilla Health after a brief illness.
Mrs. Hineline was born in Jacksonville, Fla., to the late Rev. Harley Leon Sweat and Leona Pearl Sweat. She had made Waycross her home for all her life.
Mrs. Hineline was a loving and dedicated homemaker who cherished every moment she was able to spend with her grandson.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Leon Harley Sweat, Jr.
Mrs. Hineline is survived by her son, David Hineline of Waycross; her grandson, Jack David Hineline III of Waycross; eight siblings, Rosa Lee Sweat Conners of Waycross, Marvin Ernest Sweat and his wife Darlene of Nahunta, Eddie Lawrence Sweat and his wife Sonya of Waycross, Billy Joe Sweat of Patterson, Linnie Marie Sweat Smart and her fiancé, Jerry Holmes, of Knoxville, Tenn., Rita Carol Sweat Conners and her husband, Michael, of Marion, N.C., Steve Allen Sweat of Knoxville, Tenn., Johnny Earl Sweat and his wife, Candice, of Patterson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
