HORTENSE – Thomas Paul Fryberger, Sr., 87, of Hortense passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Canton, Ohio, Fryberger’s parents were George Fryberger and Pauline Gertrude Beebe Fryberger.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Vera Faye Lowther Fryberger; and three children, Bobby Jo Barn, Skippy Fryberger and Debbie Rogers.

Fryberger was of the Catholic faith. He retired from the United States Air Forces where he served over 40 years between the United States Air Force and the National Guard. Fryberger loved doing model cars and word searches.
Survivors include three children, Thomas P. Fryberger, Jr, Rusty Fryberger and Linda Parnell all of Kansas; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; good friends and caregivers, Linda and John “Coochie” Miller of Hortense; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.
There will be no services held at this time.
